حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ نَخْلًا لِأُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا الْغَرْسَ أَمُسْلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرٌ قَالُوا مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ لَا يَغْرِسُ مُسْلِمٌ غَرْسًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ طَائِرٌ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً.

Bahz narrated to us, and Affan narrated to us, both said: Aban narrated to us: Qatadah narrated to us: Anas ibn Malik narrated to us, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered a palm grove belonging to Umm Mubashshir, a woman of the Ansar, and said: "Who planted this — a Muslim or a disbeliever?" They said: "A Muslim." He said: "No Muslim plants a planting from which a person, an animal, or a bird eats, but it is charity for him."
