حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا أَنْبَأَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَتَى السَّاعَةُ قَالَ وَيْلَكَ وَمَا أَعْدَدْتَ لِلسَّاعَةِ قَالَ مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِنَّكَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ قَالَ قَالَ أَصْحَابُهُ نَحْنُ كَذَلِكَ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَأَنْتُمْ كَذَلِكَ قَالَ فَفَرِحُوا يَوْمَئِذٍ فَرَحًا شَدِيدًا قَالَ فَمَرَّ غُلَامٌ لِلْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَقْرَانِي قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ يُؤَخَّرْ هَذَا فَلَنْ يُدْرِكَهُ الْهَرَمُ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ فَفَرِحْنَا بِهِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَرَحًا شَدِيدًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Bahz narrated to us, and Affan narrated to us, both said: Hammam informed us — Affan said: narrated to us, and Bahz said: informed us — Qatadah, from Anas, that a man from the desert-dwellers came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: "When is the Hour?" He said: "Woe to you, and what have you prepared for it?" He said: "I have prepared nothing for it except that I love Allah and His Messenger." He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Then you will be with those you love." He said: His companions said: "We too?" He said: "Yes, you too." He said: So they rejoiced greatly that day. He said: Then a young servant of al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah passed by — Anas said, he was one of my peers — the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If this one is spared, old age will not overtake him before the Hour arises." Affan said: So we rejoiced at it greatly that day.
