حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ أَيُّكُمْ الْقَائِلُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ فَأَرَمَّ الْقَوْمُ قَالَ فَأَعَادَهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا قُلْتُهَا وَمَا أَرَدْتُ بِهَا إِلَّا الْخَيْرَ قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقَدْ ابْتَدَرَهَا اثْنَا عَشَرَ مَلَكًا فَمَا دَرَوْا كَيْفَ يَكْتُبُونَهَا حَتَّى سَأَلُوا رَبَّهُمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ اكْتُبُوهَا كَمَا قَالَ عَبْدِي.

Bahz narrated to us: Hammam narrated to us: Qatadah narrated to us, from Anas, who said: A man came while the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was in prayer, and said: "Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise." When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, finished the prayer, he said: "Which of you said such-and-such?" He said: The people fell silent. He said: So he repeated it three times. Then a man said: "I said it, and I intended nothing by it but good." He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, twelve angels raced to it, not knowing how to record it, until they asked their Lord, Mighty and Majestic. He said: 'Write it just as My servant said it.'"
