حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا رَقَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ غَفَلَ عَنْهَا فَلْيُصَلِّهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ { أَقِمْ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي }.

Abd ar-Rahman ibn Mahdi told us, al-Muthanna ibn Sa'id told us, from Qatadah, from Anas, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said, "If one of you sleeps through a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it when he remembers it, for God, Mighty and Majestic, says: 'Establish prayer for My remembrance.'"
