الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Sa'id told us, and Muhammad ibn Bakr said: Sa'id informed us, from Qatadah, from Anas ibn Malik, that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wanted to write to some of the non-Arab peoples, it was said to him that they would not accept a letter unless it bore a seal. So he had a silver ring made, engraved — Ibn Bakr said: and its engraving was "Muhammad, Messenger of Allah" — it is as if I can still see its gleam, or its whiteness, in the hand of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.
