حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُقَيْلٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ لَأَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَادٍ آخَرُ وَلَا يَمْلَأُ فَاهُ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hajjaj told us, Layth told us, 'Uqayl told us, from Ibn Shihab, from Anas ibn Malik, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If the son of Adam had a valley of gold, he would love to have another valley besides it; and nothing will fill the mouth of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah relents toward whoever repents."
