Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar told us, from Qatadah, from Anas, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was brought the Buraq, saddled and bridled, on the night he was taken on the Night Journey, to ride it, but it became stubborn with him. Gabriel said to it: "What makes you do this? By Allah, none more honored before Allah, Mighty and Sublime, than him has ever ridden you." He said: So it broke out in a sweat.
