حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا هَاجَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْكَبُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ رَدِيفُهُ وَكَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يُعْرَفُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ لِاخْتِلَافِهِ إِلَى الشَّامِ وَكَانَ يَمُرُّ بِالْقَوْمِ فَيَقُولُونَ مَنْ هَذَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَيَقُولُ هَادٍ يَهْدِينِي فَلَمَّا دَنَوْا مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ بَعَثَ إِلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ أَسْلَمُوا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى أَبِي أُمَامَةَ وَأَصْحَابِهِ فَخَرَجُوا إِلَيْهِمَا فَقَالُوا ادْخُلَا آمِنَيْنِ مُطَاعَيْنِ فَدَخَلَا قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ يَوْمًا قَطُّ أَنْوَرَ وَلَا أَحْسَنَ مِنْ يَوْمِ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَدِينَةَ وَشَهِدْتُ وَفَاتَهُ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ يَوْمًا قَطُّ أَظْلَمَ وَلَا أَقْبَحَ مِنْ الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Anas said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) migrated, he rode and Abu Bakr was his companion behind him. Abu Bakr was recognized on the road because of his frequent travels to Syria. People would pass and ask: 'Who is this in front of you, O Abu Bakr?' He would say: 'A guide who guides me.' When they drew near to Madinah, he sent word to the Muslims among the Ansar, to Abu Umamah and his companions. They came out and said: 'Enter safely and obeyed.' So they entered. Anas said: I never saw a day brighter or more beautiful than the day the Messenger of Allah and Abu Bakr entered Madinah. And I witnessed his death, and I never saw a day darker or uglier than the day on which the Messenger of Allah died.
