حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَصَمِّ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يُتِمُّونَ التَّكْبِيرَ فَيُكَبِّرُونَ إِذَا سَجَدُوا وَإِذَا رَفَعُوا قَالَ يَحْيَى أَوْ خَفَضُوا قَالَ كَبَّرُوا.

Anas reported that Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to complete the takbir, saying Allahu Akbar when they prostrated and when they raised their heads. Yahya said: Or when they bowed down, they said the takbir.
