حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ عَنْ الْإِزَارِ فَقَالَ عَلَى الْخَبِيرِ سَقَطْتَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ وَلَا حَرَجَ أَوْ لَا جُنَاحَ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ الْكَعْبَيْنِ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ وَمَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا لَمْ يَنْظُرْ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Affan told us, Shu'bah told us, al-'Ala' ibn Abd al-Rahman told me, he said: I heard my father relating, he said: I asked Abu Sa'id about the lower garment, and he said: "You have asked one who knows well. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'The believer's lower garment reaches to the middle of the shin, and there is no harm' - or 'no sin' - 'in what is between that and the ankles; whatever is below the ankles is in the Fire; and whoever drags his lower garment out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him.'"
