حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ هِيَ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُخْبِرَتْ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يُفْتِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَصْلُحُ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تُسَافِرَ إِلَّا وَمَعَهَا ذُو مَحْرَمٍ لَهَا.

Yunus narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Amrah - she is the daughter of Abd al-Rahman b. Sa'd b. Zurarah al-Ansariyyah - that A'ishah, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was informed that Abu Sa'id al-Khudri gives the ruling that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not proper for a woman to travel except with a relative within the prohibited degrees of marriage accompanying her."
