حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي قَدْ تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ مَا إِنْ أَخَذْتُمْ بِهِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا بَعْدِي الثَّقَلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَكْبَرُ مِنْ الْآخَرِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ حَبْلٌ مَمْدُودٌ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَعِتْرَتِي أَهْلُ بَيْتِي أَلَا وَإِنَّهُمَا لَنْ يَفْتَرِقَا حَتَّى يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Numayr told us: Abdul-Malik ibn Abi Sulayman told us, from Atiyyah al-'Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "I have indeed left among you that which, if you hold fast to it, you will never go astray after me: the two weighty things, one of them greater than the other - the Book of Allah, a rope stretched from the heavens to the earth, and my progeny, the people of my household. Indeed, the two will never separate until they come to me at the Basin."
