حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو النَّدَبِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُوَاصِلُوا قَالُوا فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ مِثْلَكُمْ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abdur-Razzaq told us: Ma'mar told us, from Abu Amr al-Nadabi, who said: I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not practice continuous fasting." They said, "But you practice continuous fasting, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "I am not like you; I spend the night being fed and given drink [by my Lord]."
