حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْكَمْأَةُ مِنْ الْمَنِّ وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ وَهِيَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ السُّمِّ.

Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, Ja'far ibn Iyas narrated to us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Jabir ibn Abdullah and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who both said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The truffle is of the manna, and its water is a cure for the eye, and the ajwa date is from Paradise, and it is a cure from poison."
