Hajjaj and Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, they said: Sharik narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Usm Abu Ulwan, who said: I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not permissible for anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day to untie the tying-cord of a she-camel's udder without its owner's permission, for it is their seal upon it. If you are in a barren land and you see a skin, a large waterskin, or a small waterskin of milk, call out to the owners of the camels three times; if he gives you to drink, then drink, otherwise do not." Abu al-Nadr said: "and if you have no food with you, let two men among you hold onto it, then drink."
