حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ جَاءَ يَهُودِيٌّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ ضُرِبَ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ضَرَبَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِمَ فَعَلْتَ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَضَّلَ مُوسَى عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُفَضِّلُوا بَعْضَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ يُصْعَقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَأَكُونُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ التُّرَابِ فَأَجِدُ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام عِنْدَ الْعَرْشِ لَا أَدْرِي أَكَانَ فِيمَنْ صُعِقَ أَمْ لَا.

Abu al-Nadr told us, Warqa' told us, saying: I heard 'Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini narrate from his father, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: A Jew came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) having been struck in the face, and said to him, "A man from among your companions struck me." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "Why did you do that?" He said, "O Messenger of Allah, he preferred Moses over you." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Do not prefer some prophets over others, for the people will be struck unconscious on the Day of Resurrection, and I will be the first to raise his head from the dust, and I will find Moses, peace be upon him, at the Throne - I do not know whether he was among those struck unconscious or not."
