حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ النَّبِيِّينَ مِنْ قَبْلِي كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ بَنَى دَارًا فَأَتَمَّهَا إِلَّا لَبِنَةً وَاحِدَةً فَجِئْتُ أَنَا فَأَتْمَمْتُ تِلْكَ اللَّبِنَةَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Mu'awiyah told us, Al-A'mash told us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "My likeness and the likeness of the prophets before me is that of a man who built a house and perfected it except for one brick. Then I came and completed that brick."
