حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنِي حَمَّادٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَتَتَّبِعُنَّ سَنَنَ مَنْ قَبْلَكُمْ الشِّبْرَ بِالشِّبْرِ وَالذِّرَاعَ بِالذِّرَاعِ وَالْبَاعَ بِالْبَاعِ حَتَّى لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ دَخَلَ جُحْرَ ضَبٍّ لَدَخَلْتُمُوهُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَمِنَ الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى قَالَ مَنْ إِذًا.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'I and a woman whose complexion is darkened (i.e., a woman who devoted herself to raising her children) will be like this on the Day of Resurrection' — and he joined his index and middle fingers — 'a woman who lost her husband, who was of status and beauty, but devoted herself to her children until they grew up or died.'
