حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ الْفَأْرُ مِمَّا مُسِخَ وَسَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِآيَةِ ذَلِكَ إِذَا وُضِعَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا لَبَنُ اللِّقَاحِ لَمْ تُصِبْ مِنْهُ وَإِذَا وُضِعَ لَبَنُ الْغَنَمِ أَصَابَتْ مِنْهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ كَعْبٌ قَالَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِذًا نَزَلَتْ عَلَيَّ التَّوْرَاةُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Hurayrah said: 'The mouse is from what was transformed (into animals). The sign of that is that when camel's milk is placed before it, it does not drink from it, but when goat's milk is placed before it, it drinks from it.' Ka'b said to him: 'Did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say this?' Abu Hurayrah said: 'Then was the Torah revealed to me (that I would quote from it)?'
