حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ كَمَثَلِ كَنْزٍ لَا يُنْفَقُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ammar b. Muhammad - who is the son of Sufyan's sister - told us, from Ibrahim, from Abu 'Iyad, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The likeness of knowledge that brings no benefit is like the likeness of a treasure that is not spent in the way of Allah."
