حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ وَفْدَ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ حَيْثُ قَدِمُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَاهُمْ عَنْ الْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالْمَزَادَةِ الْمَجْبُوبَةِ وَقِيلَ انْتَبِذْ فِي سِقَائِكَ وَأَوْكِهِ وَاشْرَبْهُ حُلْوًا طَيِّبًا فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ائْذَنْ لِي فِي مِثْلِ هَذِهِ قَالَ إِذَنْ تَجْعَلَهَا مِثْلَ هَذِهِ قَالَ يَزِيدُ وَفَتَحَ هِشَامٌ يَدَهُ قَلِيلًا فَقَالَ إِذَنْ تَجْعَلَهَا مِثْلَ هَذِهِ وَفَتَحَ يَدَهُ شَيْئًا أَرْفَعَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Hisham and Yazid told us — Yazid said: Hisham informed us — from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah, that when the delegation of 'Abd al-Qays came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he forbade them from [using] the hantam, the naqir, the muzaffat, and the mazadah majbubah [vessels used for making nabidh]. And it was said: "Make your nabidh in your water-skin, tie its mouth shut, and drink it sweet and pleasant." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, permit me to use something like this." He said: "Then you would be turning it into something like that [wine]." Yazid said: And Hisham opened his hand a little and said: "Then you would be turning it into something like this," and he opened his hand further than that.
