830/1084(صحيح)عن رجل من بني عامر جاء إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال:"أألج؟" فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم للجارية:" اخرجي فقولي له: قل: السلام عليكم، أأدخل؟ فإنه لم يحسن الاستئذان"، قال: فسمعتها قبل أن تخرج إلي الجارية، فقلت: السلام عليكم أأدخل؟، فقال:" وعليك، أدخل"، قال: فدخلت، فقلت: بأي شيء جئت؟ فقال:"لم آتكم إلا بخير؛ أتيتكم لتعبدوا الله وحده لا شريك له، وتدعوا عبادة اللات والعزى، وتصلوا في الليل والنهار خمس صلوات، وتصوموا في السنة شهراً، وتحجّوا هذا البيت، وتأخذوا من مال أغنيائكم فتردوها على فقرائكم". قال: فقلت: له: هل من العلم شيء لا تعلمه؟ قال:"لقد علم الله خيراً، وإن من العلم ما لا يعلمه إلا الله ؛ الخمس لا يعلمهن إلا الله: ؟ إن الله عنده علم الساعة وينزل الغيث ويعلم ما في الأرحام وما تدري نفس ماذا تكسب غداً وما تدري نفس بأي أرض تموت؟[لقمان: 34].
الترجمة الإنجليزية
A man from the tribe of Amir came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: 'Shall I enter?' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to a servant girl: 'Go out and tell him to say: "As-salamu alaykum. May I enter?" for he did not seek permission properly.' The man heard it before the girl came out, and he said: 'As-salamu alaykum. May I enter?' The Prophet said: 'And upon you [be peace]. Enter.' He entered and said: 'What have you brought?' He said: 'I have come to you only with good: that you worship Allah alone with no partner, abandon the worship of al-Lat and al-Uzza, pray five prayers day and night, fast one month in the year, perform Hajj to this House, and take from the wealth of your rich and give it to your poor.' The man said: 'Is there any knowledge you do not possess?' He said: 'Allah has taught much good, and indeed there is knowledge that only Allah knows — the five [things]: "Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die" [31:34].'
