الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Musa reported: He was with the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a garden from the gardens of Madinah, and the Prophet had a stick in his hand, striking between the water and mud. A man came asking for entry, and the Prophet said: 'Open for him and give him glad tidings of Paradise.' I went and it was Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). I opened for him and gave him the glad tidings. Then another man came asking entry, and he said: 'Open for him and give him glad tidings of Paradise.' It was Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). I opened for him and gave him the tidings. Then another man sought entry — and the Prophet had been reclining but sat up — and said: 'Open for him and give him glad tidings of Paradise, along with an affliction that will befall him.' I went, and it was Uthman. I opened for him and told him what the Prophet said. He said: 'Allah is the One Whose help is sought.'
