629/814(صحيح دون جملة الأنبياء)- عن أبي وهب[الجشمي]– وكانت له صحبة – عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:"تسموا بأسماء الأنبياء. وأحب الأسماء إلى الله عز وجل: عبد الله، وعبد الرحمن، وأصدقها حارث، وهمّام، وأقبحها: حربٌ: حربٌ، ومرّة".
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Wahb (al-Jushami), who had companionship with the Prophet, reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Name yourselves with the names of the prophets. The most beloved names to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, are Abdullah and Abdur-Rahman. The most truthful are Harith and Hammam, and the ugliest are Harb and Murrah.'
