حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَسْكُتُ سَكْتَتَيْنِ إِذَا اسْتَفْتَحَ وَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْقِرَاءَةِ كُلِّهَا . فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَى حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would observe two silences — when he commenced the prayer (after the takbir) and when he finished all the recitation. Then the narrator mentioned the meaning of the hadith of Yunus.
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت سمرہ بن جندب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے مروی ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم دو بار سکوت اختیار فرماتے — جب نماز شروع فرماتے (تکبیر کے بعد) اور جب تمام قراءت سے فارغ ہوتے۔ پھر یونس کی حدیث کا مفہوم بیان کیا۔
