حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، - رضى الله عنه - عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ كَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَيَصْنَعُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ إِذَا قَضَى قِرَاءَتَهُ وَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ وَيَصْنَعُهُ إِذَا رَفَعَ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ وَلاَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي شَىْءٍ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ وَإِذَا قَامَ مِنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ كَذَلِكَ وَكَبَّرَ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ حِينَ وَصَفَ صَلاَةَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْكِبَيْهِ كَمَا كَبَّرَ عِنْدَ افْتِتَاحِ الصَّلاَةِ .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah ennoble his countenance) narrates from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that when he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stood for the obligatory prayer, he would say the takbir and raise his blessed hands level with his shoulders. When he finished recitation and intended to bow, he would do the same. When he raised from bowing, he would do the same. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would not raise his hands in any part of his prayer while sitting. When he stood from the two prostrations (i.e., two rak'ahs), he would likewise raise his blessed hands and say the takbir. Abu Dawud said: In the hadith of Abu Humayd al-Sa'idi when he described the prayer of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): 'When rising from the two rak'ahs, he said the takbir and raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders, as he had done at the opening of the prayer.'
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت علی بن ابی طالب کرّم اللہ تعالیٰ وجہہ الکریم سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے بارے میں مروی ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب فرض نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے تو تکبیر فرماتے اور ہاتھ مبارک کندھوں تک بلند فرماتے۔ جب قراءت سے فارغ ہوتے اور رکوع کا ارادہ فرماتے تو بھی ایسا ہی کرتے۔ اور جب رکوع سے اٹھتے تو بھی ایسا ہی فرماتے۔ بیٹھی ہوئی حالت میں نماز کے کسی حصے میں ہاتھ نہیں اٹھاتے تھے۔ اور جب دو سجدوں (یعنی دو رکعتوں) سے اٹھتے تو بھی اسی طرح ہاتھ بلند فرماتے اور تکبیر فرماتے۔ ابوداود فرماتے ہیں: ابوحُمید ساعدی کی حدیث میں جب انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی نماز بیان کی: دو رکعتوں سے اٹھتے وقت تکبیر فرمائی اور ہاتھ کندھوں تک بلند فرمائے جیسا کہ نماز کے آغاز میں کیا تھا۔
