حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ حُضَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ أَبِي سَاسَانَ، عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ يَبُولُ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ اعْتَذَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ " إِنِّي كَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلاَّ عَلَى طُهْرٍ " . أَوْ قَالَ " عَلَى طَهَارَةٍ " .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Hadrat Muhajir ibn Qunfudh (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that he came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) while he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was urinating. He offered his salutation, but the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not return it until he had performed ablution. Then he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) graciously apologized to him and stated: 'I did not wish to mention the name of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, except in a state of purity.'
الترجمة الأردية
حضرت مہاجر بن قنفذ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمتِ اقدس میں حاضر ہوئے جبکہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پیشاب فرما رہے تھے۔ انہوں نے آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو سلام عرض کیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے وضو فرمانے تک سلام کا جواب نہ دیا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے (سلام کا جواب دے کر) معذرت فرمائی اور ارشاد فرمایا: مجھے یہ بات پسند نہیں کہ میں اللہ عزوجل کا ذکر بغیر طہارت کے کروں۔
