لا تشربوا فى الثملة التى تكون فى القدح، فان الشيطان يشرب من ذالك

Do not drink from the chipped part of a vessel, for Shaytan drinks from that.

العنكبوت شيطان مسخه الله فاقتلوه

The spider is a shaytan that Allah has transformed (in appearance), so kill it.

لا تقولوا قوس قزح، فان قزح شيطان ولكن قولوا قوس الله

Do not say "qaws quzah (rainbow)," for Quzah is a shaytan. Rather, say "qaws Allah (the bow of Allah)."

الحباب شيطان

(A Companion named his son al-Hubab. When the Prophet learned of it, he said:) Do not name him al-Hubab, for al-Hubab is (the name of) a shaytan.

ان شهاب اسم شيطان

Shihab is the name of a shaytan.

فضلت على آدم بخصلتين: كان شيطاني كافرا فأعانني الله عليه حتي أسلم وكن أزواجي عونالي، وكان شيطان آدم كافرا وكانت زوجته عونا على خطيئته

ما فى السماء ملك الا وهو يوقر عمر ولا فى الارض شيطان الا وهو يفرق من عمر

There is no angel in the heavens except that he honors Umar, and there is no shaytan on earth except that he fears Umar.

ما قعد يتيم على قصعة قوم فيقرب قصعتهم شيطان

No orphan sits at the bowl of a people except that Shaytan stays away from their bowl.

أنت اذا من اخوان الشيطان

(To the one who has the ability yet keeps neither a wife nor a slave-girl, the Prophet said:) You are then among the brothers of the devils.

ان الشيطان تغدو براياتها الي الاسواق فيدخلون مع أول داخل ويخرجون مع آخر خارج

The devils go out with their banners to the marketplaces in the morning. They enter with the first one who enters and leave with the last one who leaves.

ان لابليس مردة من الشيطان يقول لهم: عليكم بالحجاج والمجاهدين فأضلوهم عن السبيل

Iblis has rebel devils to whom he says: "Go after the pilgrims and the mujahidin and lead them astray from the path."

فاذا دخلتم حجركم فسلموا، يخرج ساكنها من الشيطان

When you enter your rooms, say salam, and the Shaytan dwelling therein will depart.

Allah has devils on land who have no authority over what is in the sea, and devils in the sea who have no authority over what is on land.

اذا قام العبد الي صلاته قام معه سبعة شياطين

When a servant stands for prayer, seven devils stand with him.

اذا ركبتم هذه الدواب فأعطوها حظها من المنازل ولا تكونوا عليها شياطين

When you ride these animals, give them their due rest at stops, and do not ride them like devils.

... ويبعث الله معه شياطين تكلم الناس...

...And Allah will send devils with him (the Dajjal) who will speak to the people.

يا أبا ذر! تعوذ بالله من شر شياطين الجن والانس، قلت أو للانس شياطين؟ قال: نعم

O Abu Dharr! Seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the devils among the jinn and mankind. I said: "Are there devils among humans?" He said: "Yes."

جاء ابليس الي النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو فى المسجد مع جماعة من أصحابه و سأله عن اشياء كثيرة
