Whoever dies with hatred for Ali ibn Abi Talib in his heart, let him die as a Jew or a Christian.

انه يمنع المطر عن هذه الأمة ببغضهم على بن ابي طالب

Allah withholds rain from this ummah because of their hatred for Ali ibn Abi Talib.

من احب أن يتمسك بالقضيب الرطب الذى غرسه الله بيده فليتمسك بحب علي

Whoever wishes to hold onto the fresh green branch that Allah planted with His own Hand, let him hold fast to the love of Ali.

من يحمل رايتك يوم القيامة قال على

(O Messenger of Allah!) Who will carry your banner on the Day of Resurrection? He said: "Ali."

اللهم أعط عليا فضيلة لم تعطها أحدا قبله ولا بعده

O Allah, grant Ali a virtue that You have not given to anyone before him or after him.

انها نزلت فى على ثلاثمائة اية

Three hundred verses were revealed concerning Ali.

يا على! ان الله غفرلك و ذريتك و لولدك ولأهلك ولشيعتك ولمحبي شيعتك

O Ali! Allah has forgiven you, your offspring, your children, your family, your followers, and those who love your followers.

من أحبني فليحب عليا ومن أبغض عليا فقد أبغضني...

Whoever loves me, let him love Ali. And whoever hates Ali has indeed hated me.

لن يموت هذا الا مقتولا يعني عليا

This one (meaning Ali) will not die except as a martyr.

قول على غسلت النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم فشربت ماء محاجر عينيه فورثت علم الأولين والأخرين

اذا كان يوم القيامة قال الله لي ولعلي بن أبى طالب...

On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will say to me and to Ali: "Admit into Paradise those who loved you both, and admit into Hellfire those who hated you both."

يا على! أنت و شيعتك فى الجنة

O Ali! You and your followers will be in Paradise.

مثلي مثل شجرة أنا أصلها وعلي فرعها

My likeness is that of a tree: I am its root, and Ali is its trunk.

ان الله أمرني أن ازوج فاطمة من على ففعلت...

Allah commanded me to marry Fatimah to Ali, and so I did.

يا على ان الله زوجك فاطمة وجعل صداقها الأرض فمن مشي عليها مبغضا لك يمشي حراما

O Ali! Allah has married Fatimah to you and made the earth her mahr (dowry). So whoever walks upon it while hating you walks upon it unlawfully.
